Candide oder der Optimismus
It is a graphic novel based on the satirical novel "Candide" written by the French philosopher Voltaire. The book criticises the German philosopher Gottfried Leibniz Whilhelm, who claimed that the actual world is the best of all possible worlds. Voltaire used a great deal of sarcasm, irony, twists, and fast-moving plot to rebuke the German philosopher in a whimsical way.
The novel has thirty chapters and it can be geographically divided into three sections:1-10 Europe, 11-20 Americas, and 21-30 are set in Europe and the Ottoman Empire. My graphic novel deals with the first section.
